I was reading some blogging tips and it says to blog for your readers. Actually I do not know who my readers are. If you are reading my blog… let me know what it is that you would like me to blog about or what it is that would like to read on this page.

[...] UPDATE: According to this guy, I’m supposed to “blog for my readers.” [...]
To be honest, I wouldn’t know what people would like to read in my blog too. So I just randomly say out what I had in mind most of the time.
Write about your everyday life.
Whether excited bubbling, or angry ranting – it doesn’t matter.
Write about things that interest you – martial arts? other hobbies, family, work, world events, sports…
Write about books you have read, movies you have watched, interesting websites you have visited.
Write poetry and prose of your own creation.
Draw pictures, take photographs (expand on your flickr with commentary on your blog.)
You blog is a public window into your life. Paint a picture of your life for your readers so they can experience part of the joy and frustration of being you second hand.
Most importantly, write *something* at least every couple of days, and don’t forget to respond to comments. Leave comments on other people’s blogs, and they will usually make a return visit to your blog. If they like what they find, they will return. If they don;t like it, they won’t return. But you can’t please everyone, after all, and eventually you will build up a good core reader base who will return regularly to read *whatever* you have posted, simply because you become part of their extended community.
By the way, I love the design of your blog. Is it your own design?
Happy blogging, Josh.
i don’t know but aren’t you supposed to blog about what interests you, what you like to share and enjoy with readers no matter what they cold think of?

You can either create a site aimed at a specific readership, or develop a readership.
Stuff you are interested in, know about, or like can be good subjects, especially if they have a good general following anyway. Music for a start?
Personally I would avoid anything too personal, It’s a bit like your remark about bumper stickers.
Lots of links help web traffic, so once you have established a theme, or themes, look to link to a related web ring.
Good luck & have fun.
