So, I come back to work after being on medical leave for about 8 weeks and I have a huge mess to clean up. Accounts payable is telling me that the invoice for the caterer was processed wrong and how could I have sent the paperwork so incomplete….blah blah blah. Well, for starters it was not me. I was not even here. I tried to be very cordial and kind.
She says, “well don’t you usually do blah blah blah.” Yes I do. But the invoice was sent to you by somebody new, she doesn’t know what she is doing. It is actually her bosses fault!”
